This woman had no mother-child relationship with the child at all. Moreover, her eyebrows were scattered, her cheeks were fleshless, her head was pointed with a narrow forehead, and she had a fierce look in her eyes. All of these indicated that she was extremely poor and was a vicious person who would not have a pleasant death, but the child was a child of a wealthy family.

What’s more, the weather was so hot, yet the child had not woken up from a sweat, which was a bit abnormal.

When Yunyu was observing, the spicy crayfish was served. The color was red and attractive, and the largest shrimps were picked. The smell was extremely fragrant. Pang Shanshan happily said, “Let’s eat crayfish! I won’t bother thinking too much. It’ll turn around somehow (T/N: the term used was 船到桥头自然直 chuán dào qiáo tóu zì rán zhí – The boat arrives at the bridgehead. When there is a curve in the river, there is no need to worry how the boat will float as when it arrives at the curve, it will naturally follow along the river. There is no need to think how one should move along the curve prior to that. This means that there is no need to worry in advance, and the problem can always be solved by then).”

“Why not try being an announcer first. Maybe you can make a name for yourself, but if you really can’t, it’s good to go back to the company to work,” Song Jingjing nodded, picking the biggest shrimp, she put it in Yunyu bowl.

“Xiao Yu’er, eat more,”As she was picking more shrimps for Yunyu, she saw that Yunyu was paying attention to a corner. She followed her gaze and found that it was an older mother holding a child. Jingjing asked in a low voice, ” Xiao Yu’er, what are you looking at? Is there something wrong with that mother and son pair?”

Yunyu turned around and whispered to Song Jingjing, “Look at that child. He is sweating so much due to the heat yet he still hasn’t woken up. I don’t think it’s normal. Jingjing, you go to the corner and call the police. I’m afraid the child belongs to someone else. Later if she wants to carry the child away, I’ll block her.”

She was not a busybody but as a person of metaphysics, and leaking the secrets of heaven will  more or less lead to divine condemnation. But if they can do good deeds and accumulate virtue, then they can add merit and virtue to their body (T/N: which can deter/ reduce said condemnation).

Those words made Song Jingjing sweat nervously, and also frightened Pang Shanshan and Zhu Jiajia. They have never experienced the cruelty of society and still retained their simple and naive hearts. Song Jinjing and Pang Shanshan kept looking towards the corner. Yunyu whispered, “Don’t keep looking over. Otherwise she’ll notice that we are on to her. She keeps on looking around and must be waiting for someone.”

Song Jingjing quietly ran to the corner to make the call and the call was quickly connected. She explained the situation and reported the location. When she returned, she saw a short and stout man in his thirties walking over to the woman. The woman showed him the child in her arms and the man reached out and squeezed the child’s chubby cheeks. He smiled with satisfaction and said, “Let’s go.”

The woman got up holding the child and preparing to leave with the man.

“What should we do now?” Song Jingjing and the others panicked.

Pang Shanshan gritted her teeth and said, “We can’t let them go. If they really abducted and sold the child, the child’s family would be devastated. There are so many of us, let’s directly stop them and wait for the police to arrive.”

The two people wanted to leave with the child, but how could Yunyu simply let them walk away. She got up and chased after them, grabbing the corner of the woman’s clothes. The woman frowned and said, “Little girl, what are you doing?”

Yunyu stared at her, “The child isn’t yours.”

Pang Shanshan and Song Jingjing had already followed, and Zhu Jiajia was hesitating at the table.

The woman said angrily, “What are you talking about? Little girl, if the child is not mine could it be yours? This is my second child. If you have nothing else to say, leave.”

“The child is not yours, it is someone else’s child, “Yunyu said stubbornly.

The short and stout man changed his face slightly, “What’s wrong with you little girl?” He turned to the woman and said, “Don’t bother with her. Hurry up. When the child wakes up, he’ll want to drink milk.”

The woman hugged the child wanting to leave, but Yunyu pulled her clothes and refused to let them go.

There were quite a few customers there. When they heard the commotion, they started whispering amongst themselves, “What’s going on?”

“I’m not sure, but it seems like the child is not theirs?”

“Are they traffickers? Did you call the police?”

Hearing that the police may be involved, the man panicked and pulled the woman wanting to leave. However, Yunyu’s strength was not small. She forcefully prevented them from leaving. The man turned his head and glared at Yunyu fiercely, “Scram!”

When the man was fierce, he looked like a villain and scared many people. Seeing that the crowd of onlookers was growing, the man actually whipped out a knife and stabbed Yunyu.

Song Jingjing and Pang Shan Shan’s faces turned pale with fright. Song Jingjing was the first to react, reaching out wanting to help Yunyu block the knife.

Yunyu’s speed was very fast. When the man pulled out the knife, she knew when the knife would be stabbed and swiftly turned sideways while pinching the man’s wrists. The man felt a sharp pain in his wrist and he could not hold onto anything at all and the knife in his hand promptly fell to the ground. Someone finally reacted. It was the group of male college students who were eating shrimps at the table next to them just now. The few tall boys rushed up and quickly subdued the man.

The woman wanted to run away with the child in her arms, but was caught and the child was snatched her arms.

When the child did not even wake up after such a big commotion, everyone confirmed that those two were traffickers. One of the passersby was furious and gave those two a kick. He cursed, “Damn traffickers! How many families have been harmed? You deserve to be beaten to death.”

When the police arrived, the two were beaten till their noses were bruised and their faces swollen. They hurriedly dispersed the crowd, and after asking what happened, they took the two traffickers back to the police station. Yunyu and the others also followed along to give their statements.

Pang Shanshan went over to tell the restaurant owner that they would be back for dinner later, and that their crayfish should not be moved. The owner said that he would wait for them no matter how late they return.

Hence, the group went to the police station and made a statement.

It was only then did Yunyu and the others found out that someone had really lost a child two days ago.

The parents of the child e were from the Imperial Capital, and the elderly in the family were not in good health. The husband and wife were busy with work and could not take care of the child themselves, so they hired a nanny. Who would have thought that the nanny would lose the child after three months of caring for him. The parents who lost the child immediately reported it to the police. Through monitoring the CCTVs, it was found that when the nanny pushed the stroller to the square for a walk, she was only focused on chatting with people, and did not even know that the child was taken away.

The police called the parents of the child.

After their statements were taken, the parents of the child also came. The parents of the child were well-dressed, with haggard expressions and red eyes. Behind them was a woman in her forties or fifties. Neatly dressed, she was crying miserably behind the parents of the child, “All of this is my fault. Fortunately the child was found, otherwise, I should be punished with death….”

Forty-eight hours passed, and even the police had no hope.

When the child’s parents heard that the child had been found, they hurried to the police station. The child’s mother, Han Hui, started crying while holding the child.

The child’s father, He Fan, was more rational, thanking Yunyu and the others with red eyes, ignoring the nanny who followed him.

They were really disappointed with this nanny. They covered her food and board and she was paid 10,000 yuan a month, and was seldom required to do housework. They only hoped that she would take care of their child. How could they have imagined that their child will be lost in only three months.

The nanny was still crying and apologizing.

Yunyu glanced at her, “The child was deliberately lost by you right? You should also know the two traffickers too.” The nanny had a treacherous. She was not someone who would be satisfied working for others and was one who would go out of the way to make money.

The nanny’s crying stopped abruptly, “You! This little girl, why are you talking nonsense?”

Han Hui and He Fan were stunned. They looked at the nanny and found it hard to believe that she would do that.

Yunyu was very hungry. She ate bread during the day and really did not want to stay there any longer. She turned around and said to the police, “Policeman comrade, you can try interrogating the two traffickers and see if they recognize this nanny. You can also investigate the babysitter. Maybe she has a criminal record.”

The rest was up to the police.

After Yunyu and the others returned to the food street, the boss helped them reheat the crayfish again. Song Jingjing and the others were still in shock. They were so scared just now.

After eating the hot crayfish, Song Jingjing returned to her senses, “Xiao Yu’er, you really scared me to death just now. Fortunately, you were not injured.”

“Yeah, fortunately nothing bad happened.” Pang Shanshan nodded in agreement, “Xiao Yu’er, how did you subdue that person? I didn’t see it clearly just now. Also, what’s up with the nanny?”

This matter will be known by family and friends sooner or later.

Yunuu planned on telling a white lie, “When I was in elementary school, I learned a little something from an old man in our town — fortune-telling, feng shui reading, and some self-defense techniques. Because everyone doesn’t believe in this, I didn’t mention it. “

There was a lonely old gentleman in the town where Yunyu lived, and he helped people tell their fortunes at times. There was a lot of delicious food in his house, and the children in the town loved to run to his house. A few years ago, this old gentleman passed away.

Song Jingjing stared at her with round eyes and said, “Then, isn’t Xiao Yu’er a little godly?”

Yunyu looked at Song Jingjing’s face and smiled, “Jingjing, you will have a smooth sailing life in the coming years. You will succeed in what you set out to achieve and by the age of twenty-five, you will meet the man of your destiny.”

Pang Shanshan pointed to herself, “Xiao Yu’er, help me read mine too!”

Yunyu looked at Pang Shanshan’s face, her expression became more serious, “Shanshan, if your boyfriend asks to borrow money from you these few days, you better not lend it to him. You will break up within a month.” Shanshan’s husband and wife palace, which was the position from the end of the eye to the temple, was green. The corners of the eyes had green veins, and the eye sockets also had a hint of green. These greens were not visible to the naked eye as they only refer to luck. The situation indicated that there would be problems in Shanshan’s relationship and that she would face bankruptcy.

夫妻宫 Fūqī gōng – Husband and wife palace also known as the marriage palace (the position is at the end of the eyes, by the ears)

She had no cultivation base at the moment and could barely carry out these readings. Her face was a little pale after doing so.

Pang Shanshan blinked, wondering if she should believe it or not. She had a good relationship with her boyfriend, and they were also planning on going for a graduation trip together.

Yunyu was not planning on forcing anyone to believe her divination. She said with a smile, “Why don’t we eat first? I’m hungry, sleepy and tired. Let’s finish eating earlier so that we can go back to rest.”

Everyone no longer thought too much about the fortune telling.

Yunyu also tasted the crayfish. It tasted spicy and delicious. The shrimp meat was actually not particularly delicious but the overall taste was good. The modern-day ingredients were less nourishing compared to two thousand years ago. The taste was much worse as the spiritual energy in that era was too thin.

After eating, everyone went back to the dormitory and went to bed early.

The next morning, Song Jingjing was going to move to the company’s dormitory. She had a lot of luggage. Yunyu had nothing to do, so she helped her move things. Song Jingjing’s company’s benefit was quite good. The dormitories were all small single rooms, enough for one person. There was also the company’s restaurant on the first floor and the meals were quite cheap.

It was noon by the time Yunyu finished helping with the move and she had nowhere to go. Hence, she planned to continue staying in the library.

Before she arrived at the library, her phone rang.
